As you can see, it has made all the difference :)

With Titiana's high HP, breaths have actually become the primary attack since the 30's. The most used breaths have been acid, poison (to not destroy things) and nexus (for those enemies that rBasic and poison). For those uber-resisters, mana breath, mana bolt work well, as well as the uber spells Darkness Storm, and my absolute favorite which I just got, Starburst.

The monster versions of high-level player attack spells are for the most part far superior, especially regarding Darkness Storm, Starburst, and Mana Bolt. At my current level 41, I'm dishing out 354 + 10d10 damage with each Darkness Storm or Starburst, at a 27% fail rate. Upon reaching level 50, they will be happy happy joy joy 0% fail rate, as long as I'm using a Wizardstaff or another item that "decreases mana consumption" (and fail rate).

So here's the post before the RNG hands me my head on a silver platter. Considering I actually managed to learn Starburst, and got the Golden Crown of Amber from a great storm wyrm, my bad karma bank has certainly been building :)

Also, 15 hours of play and STILL no source of Telepathy! Dammit, not even Thranduil for heaven's sake. Jack of Shadows did not, of course, drop his cloak, nor have I had any luck finding the Palantir, or even a simple Amulet of Telepathy. Bah. Just have to be more patient, I guess..,

Finally level 50, which came much more quickly after I finallyfinally managed to pick up the Palantir from a lonely Solar. Not soon after, I found Thranduil on Hastur the Unspeakable, who fell hard to a few well-placed starbursts (he is vulnerable to light).

Now I'm thoroughly enjoying my 0% fail, 450 + 10d10 damage Starbursts and Darkness storms, although I have yet to learn Manastorm. A few pieces of equipment have been disenchanted, to my great sorrow, but fortunately the disenchantments have been pretty inconsequential to a Blue-Mage. Now where oh where is that Wizardstaff of Gandalf...?
