Stunning is of little concern. If you fight with spells, the westernesse weapon offers +2 con; otherwise, the extra attacks scythe is good for melee damage and will only get better as your dex increases.

If weight slows you down, you can drop the shield at home (or dump it alltogether).

You've got a lot of midgame weapons stored at home. Sell them all (maybe keep Careth Asdraig as a stat stick.) If you really want to melee as a mage, a big (SoS, MoD or BoC) ego weapon works well. MoD of Gondolin is the best, but you won't find that very often. Otherwise, there are plenty of high-dice artifacts. You're sure to see a few of them.
