Sadly I have no idea how to get Sil running in a browser. If others knew how to do that and could make it happen, I'd be supportive. I suppose it might not be that hard to get a terminal version running in a browser?
I'm not sure when 1.3 will be released. But if I stick to my plan of it being the tile release, then it will depend more on when that gets done by than on the calendar. In particular, it will require help from other people and fitting with their timetables.
Is mouse support planned for any foreseeable release? I play on a laptop without numpad and whilst I've gotten used to using the keyboard number keys for moving at diagonals it'd still be welcome.
Also, weapons auto-id when you use staffs of self knowledge whereas other equipment doesn't. Truth be told I wouldn't mind the perception-check be reinstated for use-id'ing weapons; it was mechanically consistent and made for a good reason to pump perception early. Maybe even add a check to notice whether slaying weapons glow or not?
I'd just like to say that if I could play Sil in a browser, I doubt I would ever play anything else.
Does 1.3 mean likely 01/2015?

We have no plans for online play, but tiles are the main plan for 1.3. I think I'll require some help to get them working for Mac (which is my main development platform), but it looks like the new Mac port for Vanilla should be a great starting point.

I know I'm the one who asked for this so I am probably biased, but I really like the increased throwing weapon stack sizes. I've had several cases where I found a big stack of weird doriath axes and thrown out my slightly larger stack of vanilla quarrels. This is especially true at deep depths when I know most of my stack is going to get vaporized by fire anyways Thanks for adding this! Along with ctrl-t I like throwing even more now.
Which is all rather typical except that I was fighting them in a corridor. The way I figure the fleeing warrior pushed the remaining warrior towards me and he got a free charge? Is this working as intended? Granted the mental image is hilarious but still.
It seems that the (charging) orc moved forward the previous turn, then you attacked, then the other orc fled, swapping places with the charging orc, then the charging orc took his next turn and killed you. If so, he did move forward on his last turn, so it sounds legit. I've checked the code and the only way to get a move entered into one's previous moves array is to be the one who instigates it, so he didn't get a run up just on account of being swapped with the fleeing orc.
Was estimating I could scare off some wounded orc warriors with a single spear of gondolin thwack when suddenly:
You hit the Orc Warrior!
The Orc Warrior flees in terror!
The Orc Warrior charges you!
You die.

Morgoth is truly a threat now. It seems like you want to get back to a point at which it is impossible to kill him. Or do you want to make it just super hard to kill Morgoth?
I actually like him being a lot tougher. That throne room got really scary....I wasn't even sure if I would be able to get a Sil out let alone 2. I'd say more but I think the Throne room needs to be experienced first hand rather than have me ruin it.
I will say that killing Gothmog off before the Throne room helped a lot.
I can't say that I saw a lot of new vaults though...which just means that I will have to play again and try to off Morgoth : )
Monster memory shows Umuiyan and Easterling archers as using longbows of 1d7. I don't know whether this is true, but I thought it is either wrong or should be changed.
When you shoot at point blank range, it is always odd to receive an opportunist attack first, but then the monster decides to flee. In a way it makes sense, but it is a bit weird as well.
