I've seen plenty of graphic orientated projects start strong and then die off in the time I spent here at oook. I can't tell you how happy I am to see this project come to (near) completion. I am in awe, and more than just a bit jealous, of both your skill and perseverance. Thank you for doing this.

Blindness only affects the player, but I like the enthusiasm.
Yes, the tileset would cover both player and NPCs, possibly replacing the text status in the player ui to the left. When it's done, it might just inspire the programmers to make a graphical ui instead of the current text based one
I better come up with a set of icons for the various conditions, stuff for later this week, an eye with a slash over it for blindness, iron ball & chain for slow, boot with wing for haste etc
