As a fun curiosity, this is not what I normally wear, but I dressed up like this for our local archery club, that luckily now has mostly longbow/horsebow shooters compared to the group of men in their 60s shooting composite bows a few years ago:

Will the new code perhaps be made so that you call for a specific image rather than calling upon a portion of a large tilesheet, when you want to display for example a specific battleaxe? In other words, moving from huge tilesheets, to separate images for everything? It might sound like alot of work, and I'll personally voulenteer to add all the filenames to the code, if that helps making it so
The two large areas of the code that I don't touch are the input layer and the display code, so I'm really not best placed to say - but it sounds like a sensible approach that ought to be adopted at some point. ISTR someone else mentioning it a while back on IRC, so there is definitely hope ...

Spot on, the one to the bottom-left is the Blade of Chaos.

With a background of lots of gaming and roleplaying, it was an easy task to paint these, with a little help of my Rolemaster rpg books

I imagine it must have been tricky to differentiate some of these. Cutlass, tulwar, and scimitar for example. Is the Blade of Chaos the Flamberge-looking one?

For me the Main Gauche is especially exquisite. Wish I could paint like that! The sling is also great, it seems like a shame to waste the tile on such a modest weapon
