Oh please don't update the huntslady tile!
She makes me laugh in a happy way (and then die).

I want the 'Frying Pan of Eggs' in the game right now.
Do you envisage it as a snack, or a weapon?

        Why not both?

More food items and more dungeon contents in general, pickable fungus patches, tables, chairs, statues, cracks in the floor that make you fall down to the next level if pushed over the edge.

Is the Tile Picker tool hosted anywhere now? The link on pg 6 is dead.... and I could use it...

Dropping in to let people know I'm still alive, though most of you might have forgotten about me by now

Back in 2012, I started a huge fantasy art project and I'm at the end of it now, with only one more addon art kit to create and deliver to the backers, that is one last art kit that was part of the kickstarter fundraiser as a stretch goal. You can read more about the kickstarter project here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...antasy-art-kit

You can find the fantasy art kit website here, with lists of content for each art kit and prices for those who'd like to purchase any of them:

I've still been involved in creating tiles and tokens for roguelikes, but the work with the Angband tileset has been at a standstill. ToME seems to have acquired one or more artists for it's game, which is great.

2015 will be the year when I create graphic novel book 1 based on a fantasy/scifi setting I've been working on over the recent years, named "Legendary". Book 1 will contain approx 135 pages of artwork all done by myself. You can read a little about it here, until I get the Legendary website up and running: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Legen...14788485331541

I do think I'll be revisiting my Shockbolt tileset also, updating some of it's tiles to new ones.

Excellent. There's a good chance that we'll be needing some new ones some time in the next year or two

Thanks people, both projects are going along well

I just wanted to let people know that I am lowering the
cost to use my Angband tileset for commercial purposes/projects that
aim to sell or otherwise gain income, from USD 500 and down to USD 250.

You will then gain access to more image files than is currently
included with the Shockbolt tileset, that currently do not include the
                              2.5D tiles.

The total tiles/tokens count for my Angband tileset is approx 1500 images:

                              Player tiles: 187
                              2.5D Wall tiles: 50
                              Terrain/Doors/Traps: 48 + possibly more
                              Stairs: 8
                              Spell effect tiles: 90
                              Items/weapons/armor/misc: 496
                              NPCs: 602 + possibly more
2.5D tiny buildings: 6-8 or so

As always, you do not have to purchase the tileset in order to use the images for your free games, as long as I live, this will not change.

And I just want to add that I plan on expanding my tileset, to include more terrain tiles, more objects, more items and possibly even more enemy tiles. These will be included into the tileset you get @ $250, and all future additions will be available for free.

I also plan on adding the new tiles to the current Angband tilesheet if possible.
