Two lessons I learned: 1) When playing a very hard class, chose one of the easist races (high elf, dunadan, or maia). 2) When playing a necromancer, don't spend any ability points on anything other than STR, INT, and CON. I wasted a couple on DEX.
As far as surviving, I don't play spellcaster classes as often because I try to dive fast to get needed stat potions and it seems like I'm always running away. Having only 11STR is really annoying.

The 'of randomness' is a rare ego which is kindof a pseudo -randart with drawbacks. There's a few types of them with the same ego name. I found more than one so maybe I should make them more rare.
