This character was a first for me in a number of ways. I had never previously died through loss of sanity, I had never previously died in Angband, and I had never previously found the Blood of Life. Fortunately I found the Blood of Life *before* running into that bunch of Eye Druj on Level 84 who had nothing better to do than brain-smash.

(I hadn't previously had a character using Deathwreaker either, and I've got to say that I love the way it makes absolute mincemeat of undead.)

In terms of luck, this character has had some real ups and downs. Got Lasher from a Princess Quest on Level 3 of the Barrowdowns, and used it well into Angband (found Totila at the bottom of Mordor and used it against Nazgul - it was the only other artifact hafted weapon I found for a long long time). On the other hand, I had to wait ages for the Arkenstone and Elessar to turn up, Angband featured precisely three FF Quests (the Princess kept getting captured by Grand Master Mystics, Hrus, and Master Quythulgs), and until I found a Potion of New Life I was getting ripped off a bit in the HP department (my original 1339 HP was not a lot considering that this character is a Zombie Beorning).

This character is now off to level Grond, and hopefully find a Cloak of Air.
