Light relief. I'd heard about the silliness of Aule, and figured I would check it: this guy was well under one day realtime of gameplay, basically scummed some piety early and ran through everything, including Morgoth (who didn't scratch him - er, her - and only got one hit in total). The drain life from her axe was KEY because it meant there was never any need to heal even when surrounded. Amazing character type!

Note the basically junky kit - only decent item was the boots. but after flipping the amulet, Gways was basically invincible. Silly :-) but fun.

I grabbed a bunch (like 15) assorted basic axes from the weaponmaster, then sat through probably a couple hundred thousand turns of resting on autopilot while doing other stuff, and that was enough piety to get the enchantments you see. Mindcraft was an afterthought with tons of spare skilll points, but filled in any conceivable gap - I never needed mindcraft healing, but the permaspeed boost was nice and I used a couple of mindwaves for breeders.

Good thinking, having a spare Arkenstone, just in case something happens to the first one.

Yeah, although I carelessly destroyed the town I stored it in :). Known Theme bug with the special level of Smaug, I believe.

Incidentally, the 'new' Theme towns don't appear to be destroyed when I put on the One. I was able to go shoppping in Dale for rations between Mount Doom and Angband quite happily, and the shopkeepers didn't seem to notice whom they served..
