There was this orc duo in Mordor that Frodo and Sam overheard; a warrior and a scout. The scout was sniffing some former possessions of the hobbits and trying to follow their trail by smell, while the warrior cursed at him; eventually they fought and the warrior killed the scout.

I have been looking for the scout´s name, he is kinda the blueprint for my character, but I cant find it and I am not even sure those 2 orcs had names.

A while ago I was diving more agressively, resulting in lower ratio. When there is more motivation not to die (competition or such), ratio should be higher.

Simple choices, for example: let get one turn on you or abandon attempt to clear this vault ? make the difference. In lazy mode, I might pick the former option and occasionally die for it.

I dont remember who/when/what was going on then, nor the circumstances surrounding the death (maybe a nether wraith came through the wall while I was fighting Lagduf, his nether bolt brought me down to 5 hp, and Lagduf got the killing blow ?).

Where do I find the patience ? I dont know. If you play too aggressively, it might be that you dont have the "retreat" routine in your blood. When danger rises, it should trigger automatically.
Or maybe it would help if you keep the danger level high by descending deeper when you notice the agression coming on.
