| Halls of Mist, the successor to FayAngband, hit the streets last month, and has moved at a breakneck pace to introduce new theme and gameplay. Try it for yourself! This competition brings a choice of three Human Spellswords: Regan, who has high STR for a broad axe and charge attacks; Desdemona, who has high DEX for three blows with a broad sword; and Rinaldo, who has better spellcasting and wand use and two blows with a Long Sword. The 'save file' is in fact a zip of all three, with a more detailed text description. Competition winner is the highest score. Halls of Mist is available for Windows, OSX (for more info about the build, see this post), 64-bit Linux or as source. Savefiles submitted by Mikko Lehtinen. | |
