| This competition is an experiment with a "reduced size" game - with forced descent, 50 dungeon levels, and smaller dungeon dimensions, view range, and missile ranges. The attached 'savefile' is actually a zipfile that contains 2 files: 'constants.txt', which contains the game settings, and 'Fear', which is the character savefile. To use 'constants.txt', put the file in the appropriate folder depending on your platform, as described here. You can find Angband 4.0.3 at rephial.org. Competition winner is the game winner in least standard turns, or if no winner then max experience/standard turns. GLHF | |
