Just found about the best possible weapon for rounding off kit and consumables! Winged Dragons are my new staple diet. Another change has been Great Axes from 5d4 to 4d5 - meaning the enhanced versions can be a lot better...

Not sure about archery - I haven't played enough Rangers to know. The only change that sounds potentially unbalancing is that, given how rare Branding scrolls were, allowing elemental rings to apply a weapon brand might be overpowered for the likes of the Glaive of Pain - toning it down a little (sorry, HM) would probably mitigate that, if it's a problem in the first place...

Using a branding ring with the GoP is exactly the sort of thing they are designed for. In how many builds could you sacrifice a ring slot to do it though? That was the theory anyway - I'll be interested to see people's experience with them!
