My brothers used to tease me many years ago after I told them that angband was a fantasy game: "Watch out! A red D is coming! Run! HAHAHAHA". F*ing soccer lovers...
What we need is to promote angband as some sort of "modern" chess. Your relatives and friends still will think that you need to get laid, pronto. But they will also think that you are wasting your life doing something intellectual and not thinking about hot elf women.
