Launcher multipliers SUCK! You should be able to do just as much damage throwing an arrow as shooting it out of a bow. It's simple physics! DUH!

Shut 'yer mouth, noob. Angband was the original inspiration for diablo. And don't ever mention graphics here again. Everyone knows that ascii is MUCH more clean and, dare I say it, prettier than any shiny 3d "grafix"!!!

If takkaria ever wants to make Angband popular, what he need to do is add social media integration. In-game chat like ToME has isn't enough; what we need is for the game to post to Twitter and Facebook whenever you gain a level, find an artifact, or slay a unique. Otherwise Angband will just continue to be a nerdy game for losers.
