You all suck. Your devotion to the ASCII and text based anything is sad. Cool people don't use text at all. Cool people code with tiles. I'd draw you a picture, but this crappy forum wouldn't support it.
www.mediafire.com/buzzkill - Get your 32x32 tiles here. UT32 now compatible Ironband and Quickband 9/6/2012.

Ed is for noobs, use cat to write code, and never make bugs, so you never have to edit your files..

Pah! When I was young, we inscribed the bits directly on the surface of the hard disk platter. It took months to write even small programs, but at least you got a real sense of achievement! Kids these days, don't know how good they got it...

Feh. Your generation had it easy. Back in my day we didn't have those fancy-schmancy hard drives. We used punch cards and we liked it. A savefile took up an entire filing cabinet, and the running the Angband binary required enough racks to hold over 8 million vacuum tubes. It took 4 full coal trucks to generate enough electricity to play a single game. But it made us tough, and strong, unlike these wimpy kids today.

Pah, you had it easy. Back in my day we actually had to act out the game with our own torches, food rations, and shitty daggers. We had to build our own acid traps and spiked pits.

Most of us died. RNG god gave us shitty starting stats.

Yeah, throw it out's the best thing you could do. But you won't, will you, because you're a hipster fanboi loser.

Sadly, modern hard disks does not support this, they break if opened. However I used to program some nice device, produced in Soviet Union, where you write a program by swtching switches, something like an 30 by 30 array of swithches, one for each bit.

then why not make first age the new vanilla until pyrel gets developed.
then make pyrel the next vanilla.

no, make every newly updated variant the next vanilla until the next variant is updated. everyone gets their turn as vanilla maintainer.

seriously, I don't think I can get any more ridiculous until I have another six-pack

I thought I'd give all the numpties in this thread advance warning before the rest of the forum finds out. Angband 3.5 is out. It's my last release and if it wasn't for you pesky kids it would have been out a lot earlier. May the fleas of 1000 orcs molest you! You have abused me once too often. And now, you shall waste my time no more!

You can download Angband 3.5.0 here.

Wait, Angband is only on version 3.5? That's SO outdated! Microsoft Office is already on version 2013, Windows is on version 8, and even Android is on version 4.4. Angband really needs to step up its game if it wants to compete in the modern software marketplace!
You read the scroll labeled NOBIMUS UPSCOTI...
