True, not much of a reason anymore. Rods used to (probably still do) have a slightly lower fail rate than other devices (with high enough device skill) so I preferred to use them for clutch abilities. I guess it doesn't matter much.

GitHub is where people build software. More than 100 million people use GitHub to discover, fork, and contribute to over 420 million projects.
They can, however, be popped by elemental damage, and I'm not sure recall wands are protected from this in poscheng.Glaurung, Father of the Dragons says, 'You cannot avoid the ballyhack.'👍 1Comment

So Rods and other Magic Devices can be cursed in 4.0.0?My best try at PosChengband 7.0.0's nightmare-mode on Angband.live:

If I'm offline I'm probably in the middle of maintaining Gentoo or something-Linux or other.

I'd like to request that you add the option to display Race/Class on the information section of the game screen.
There is a small roguelike community I belong to that often shares screenshots of the game, but due to the lack of race/class on the screen following 4.0, people are often confused about what exactly the person is playing as (especially if it's a monster race and the player is in a pack of monsters).
It would be most appreciated.Comment
