Can you drop it?

I made some changes to pickup, so I guess this is a consequence. If you send me a savefile (email on the second title screen) I can fix it for you, and it may also help me diagnose the problem.

Hm, I have 2380 gold or so. The shops all tell me I have 0 when I try to buy something.

I noticed several messages like "*monster* tries to pick up *item* but fails".
Are those intended? Why couldn't they pick up the item? Are they supposed to do?

Monsters can't pick up artifacts, or items with a relevant slay (so a Dread can't pick up a weapon with Slay Undead).

OK, FAangband 1.2.10 is now out - Windows, Mac or source as a tar.gz or zip file.

It's savefile compatible with 1.2.9. Tile issues are now fixed, I think, plus a couple of other little things and further code update.

Oh, and also the bug which resulted in chem's gold-in-the-inventory bug is AFAIK not fixed. Please let me know if it occurs again (and if you happen to notice when; cause for bug and patches to fix also accepted).

When trying to open FAangband-v1.2.10-osx.dmg I'm getting this error in the Finder, after double-clicking the dmg:

"The following disk image couldn't be opened." Reason code is "error -4960". Not sure if there's a log file I can get for you - nothing in /Users/~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter.

I'm not getting this, but am getting crashes on opening. Grrr. I'll report back when I have a fix.

Yeah - I was able to open the .dmg and move the files and launch the game. I was messing around with help, though, reading up on races. When I hit ESC twice to return to the character creation menu the application crashed.

I can reproduce this and it creates in Library/Application Support/CrashReporter/aangband_D69C8D7A-433C-5E5D-AFF9-12058B91CAC3.plist. There's also a fair amount of stuff in the OS's Problem Report application - FAangband has a some lines in that in the thread dump and I've saved them to a text file if you think it might be interesting. Just let me know and I can email or PM it to you.
