About macros: From what I've read in the source, it looks for user.prf, then user-win.prf for base prefs, then it looks for more character specific ones - it will attempt to load .prf files with your character's race or class name, then it looks for a .prf file with your current character's name (ignoring the savefile name), then it looks for .prf files for your chosen spell realms. If you're playing on the same savefile with characters with different names (which will happen if you're playing the Touhou uniques), your old player prefs might not load.Leave a comment:

Unfortunately, since this variant is based on an older version of Hengband (around 1.6.x - 1.7.x), it's missing many new features, and Frog/Poscheng ones never were widely introduced to the JP community at all; this would include better message formatting, auto-navigation, terrain feature recall.
On the topic of macros, I might take a look on how it works; I personally didn't actively use them, but one thing unique to this variant is how your savefile name does not necessarily match your character's name; this is probably what's throwing the pref reader off.Leave a comment:

Do you know if there's a way to increase the max message lines number to include every -more- message, like pos/com/frog does?
For some reason the Alt Gr key doesn't work for me, on an AZERTY keyboard. So can't access the @ key to edit macros, have to use the extended enter menu.
Speaking of macros, is there a way to auto load those settings on a new game? I tried giving the file the same name as my main save but I still have to load it on new games.
Would you mind including recall descriptions for crossable terrain features' effects, if that's possible?
