Will you add "slowed" to that list of effects that can be discerned by looking? It would be nice to know if the status effect has worn off. Yes, it is given once in the messages, if you happen to be in line of sight or have ESP of the monster, but so are the others. Easy to miss as it flashes by.
Doesn't slowed show up in the colour of its hitpoints bar like stunned does?

Damage calculation views are a bit off at least with priest. I guess game doesn't count changes caused by blessed-flag when showing damage, because if you go from blunt/blessed weapon to blunt/blessed weapon or edged to edged calcs don't change but if you go from blunt/blessed to edged and vice versa they change: if you are wielding blessed and look damage from edged it show bigger than when actually wielding that edged weapon and same other way around.

There is a bug in overhead view term window. Looks like it doesn't redraw view properly when you do a map sector change using (L)ook command so you get fractions of the view left in the screen making it confusing. Map view works perfectly.

Did a bug search in trac and it looks like something similar were fixed in 3.5.0, so this might be reintroduced bug (bug 1495).

That's weird. Do you have a save file?

is it because it was drained, or because maybe you have a cursed item?

There are new builds up on the nightlies page - well, actually, the windows build failed to appear, so here's a link - with the following changes from me:
    • Fix to the "drop a wielded light, pick it up, game crash" bug reported by bunnies
    • Fix to bad IDing of curses with a sporadic effect reported by spara
    • Some more fixes designed to prevent issues with objects - note that there may sometimes be a message asking to report a bug, if you get that, please report it
    • Halving of greater vault frequencies
    and from fizzix:
    • Big reduction in trap frequency
    • Increase some potion durations
    • Make resist potions occur deeper where they're more useful
    • Make rogue monsters drop ?Phase, and make stacks of ?Phase bigger

I am expecting to have to do more before releasing 4.1.3. I want to see if the "object mismatch - please report" bug gets reported, and I also would like to hear how the trap and vault frequencies seem now.

i would test that, but can't, as the play-with-artifact feature crashes the game.

I could be wrong, but I believe that adding blessed to a blunt weapon does not improve its power rating at all, because the game correctly surmises that it's completely redundant.

i found a randart that was both a blunt weapon and also "blessed by the gods". shouldn't "blessed" only apply to edged weapons? as i understand it, it what makes edged weapons avoid the penalty when wielded by Priests.
Yes, the blessing is redundant. But it doesn't harm anything having it there. The randart generator automatically puts blessing on all weapons that get wis bonuses, because having a wis bonus wouldn't be useful if you have an edged weapon penalty on top of it. Sure, Nick could add a check to cancel this if the weapon is already blunt, but it's not worth the trouble.

If you don't like having occasional artifacts that look stupid, just play standart.

I'm not a coder, but I do write (professionally) so I will assume that the rule is kinda the same: code written without caffeine is inherently suspect.
