I'm more angry about the !Healings, which could have instantly fully-healed me, if I used them.
I think, now that I am richer by a few valuable experiences, I can try a mage, this time seriously. But for today, my morale's broken. See ya tomorrow...

Same thing here man.

First attempt got me to dungeon level 11 or 12, then I died.

2nd attempt (this morning before work) got me to dungeon level 10 and I died.

Both HE Rangers.

My computer monitor is dying (I can hardly see anything that is red) and I was rushing and playing carelessly...

Oh well, better luck today/tonight.

Now I'm diving too quick and run into orc groups before I start to enchant my daggers (=> death.)

The RNG didn't give me this for free, of course. I had to fight at least ~30 orcs for it.
AAAAAAND, I found a potion of strength at '500, which boosted my strength from 18/60 to 18/90.

Just cleared a small checkerfield vault at '600. Two good cloaks and a good rapier. Nothing too big.

Another few lesser vaults. They are much more common than I thought. They contain crap, though.

Oh my dog. I found two artifacts - The Iron Helm "Holhenneth" and the Pike "Til-i-arc".

Is there a scheme in naming your characters? First was named after a ring from Tolkien world (also an artifact in the game, so it would be kinda twisted if Nenya would find Nenya), second from Zelda videogame series...

The first one was an accident. I actually wanted to name her Nayru, but I misspelled it. I kept it.

That's harmless. What is bad is if you have a weapon or bow above +10, and it gets reduced, or if you have gloves with +damage on them. Losing damage off Cambeleg is a real bummer.

That's not the point... I had more than enough stuff to escape after finding out he disenchants. I still didn't learn to run. >.<

I'm slowly advancing. '1200, at the moment.
I started meeting hounds. Now I understand why everyone hates them - my equipment and scrolls are under constant attack by fire and acid.
