Sample map portion, made using the recent tileset additions:

Sample map with a 64x64 grid added, making it easier to see how the tiles are put together:

So... when are we adding these in the original, vanilla Angband?
Morgoth certainly had some ponds, especially lava in his Angband tower.

Definately something I'd do after completing the 64x64 and 32x32 versions.
A 128x128 tileset would be sweet! What size do you draw at?

              We can only hope :-)
I'm just making these for people to enjoy and have the opportunity to use with their roguelike games.

I typically create the tiles in 128w x 128h or 128w x 256h but they're not meant to be that large. It's a neat trick that's often used when creating comic books for example, drawing/painting much larger than the actual size, and when you downsize you get more details as a bonus. :-)

More tiles painted for NPPAngband this weekend(and a few new characters that somehow managed to slip away from the original Angband tileset, male/female druid/brigand):

Tilesheet updated with 4 new player tiles, the male/female brigand and druid.
A cloak that was placed in the top left corner of the tilesheet has been moved to an empty space between two chain mail tiles as it caused a weird effect as unexplored dark fields were filled with that type of cloak.

Due to having relocated the tiles for "Home" and "Black market" in the new tilesheet, these are the settings that need to replace the current settings in the file: graf-shb.prf:

                    # Black Market
                    F:14:all:0x99:0x8A

                    # Home
                    F:15:all:0x99:0x89

Still trying to find what the new tile location for the dark/purple ghost with both hands in the air is to be set to..

                    *edit*

It's most likely one of these two inside the graf-shb.prf file, as I've labeled the image file "magical_lurker_trapper_01_64":

                    # Trapper
                    R:388:0x9F:0xF2

                    or

                    # Lurker
                    R:188:0x8E:0xE1
