Nick,
just "highest score wins" would have worked better in Mist. Score = experience. (Ladder automatically knows the right order.)
The game gives a big score multiplier to winners who dove fast. Min Depth is much more relevant than turn count.
I don't think turn count should be relevant in Mist. A good player knows how long he can linger on a level safely.

So, how do you load one of these from the mac command line? I've extracted them to /lib/save, but everything I've tried has failed to load.
Code:macbook-pro:mist_131 jujuben$ ./mist -mx11 -- -n6 -u<./lib/save/Rinaldo> -bash: syntax error near unexpected token `newline' macbook-pro:mist_131 jujuben$ ./mist -mx11 -- -n6 -u./lib/save/Rinaldo ./mist: Ignoring option: -u./lib/save/Rinaldo macbook-pro:mist_131 jujuben$ ./mist -mx11 -- -n6 -u ./lib/save/Rinaldo ./mist: Ignoring option: -u ./mist: Ignoring option: ./lib/save/Rinaldo macbook-pro:mist_131 jujuben$ ./mist -mx11 -- -n6 -u --./lib/save/Rinaldo ./mist: Ignoring option: -u ./mist: Ignoring option: --./lib/save/Rinaldo

Competition 130
Competition 130 is now available from the competition page; it is a Halls of Mist Human Spellsword (actually, a choice of three).
Note that comp 129 still has about a day and a half to run.Tags: None
