Well that's a big step up for a ring of free action for a DL33/CL27 mage:

While ESP or pConf would be better, of course, it is just what the doctor ordered for the moment. Combined with a ring +3 from the previous room, my mana increased by over 50% and my fail rate dropped by the 33%.
Now if I could only replace my ring of fire and cold with
a ring of the Mouse (0,-7)<+4>

Alas, on my previous trip I got a potion of dexterity, putting it almost exactly 24K out of reach, right on 60K. Even then, I'd pay all my cash for a single source of TO. I've found none.

I wouldnt fret crown of might; hopefully youll have to replace it with ESP anyway....and by the time a better slot for ESP becomes available, chances are youll have found something similar in the dungeon.

Well, it's only Craftsmanship. But it beats Leather Armor of Elvenkind <+2> {rDark}

I will miss those +2 stealth, but I suppose it's a fair trade. The extra +60 AC is nice, too.

Here's one I'm Dunadan blackguard finds quite useful:

h) an Elven Cloak of the Magi [6,+11] <+1, +4>
     Dropped by a shadow drake at 3750 feet (level 75)
     
     +1 intelligence.
     +4 stealth.
     +1 speed.
     Cannot be harmed by Acid.
     Sustains intelligence.
     Gives immunity to traps.

I gave up a +5 stealth amulet and "excellent" overall to reach max blows and keep rNether. But I am still at the upper end of "poor" stealth. But that is still pretty good for the class. Trap immunity is nice, too..

Yeah that is pretty much perfect, though it's a toss-up on the best ability late in the game. (pStun? ESP? Trap immunity? Alas, +moves apparently is impossible.)
