My first archer, and one of my first TOME runs. I was excited about the Arrows of Cabluin, but figured it was no big deal until I started reading other comments here and realized it was actually fairly rare to make such good ammo so early in the game (I think these are actually from level 6, and probably DLevel 4 or so).

I'm thinking Winona might have to try her hand at some big game...

Thanks for the tips! It turns out I should have been a little more cautious -- I went traipsing through the wilderness and ran afoul of a pack of jackals. Which is no big deal. And one of them was spectral, level 21... but apparently only worth 3 experience. So no big deal. And then the blindness hit, and my experience slowly drained away, and Winona's lifeless, eviscerated husk settled slowly to the ground, a wan reminder to future adventures to choose their routes more wisely.
