Stealth shouldn't be much of a problem; wood-elves come with enough so that with cowardly tactics they can evade detection by most anything. Summoned monsters are very helpful, and since you're using 2.1.2, you can retreat to the trees if things get bad. Also, possession and symbiosis don't always work well together; many good bodies lack the symbiote slot. Don't invest in weaponmastery either, since wood-elf loremasters are too fragile to engage in heavy melee.

After losing my last loremaster, I created a 2.2.0 Troll Barbarian Demonologist (Melkor) and have been bashing about with it.... good therapy :-) But I'm getting ready to try again.....
