This has been one of my more fortunate characters -- Whip of Westernesse at 150'; +4 WIS Holy Avenger at 750'; Cambeleg from Mim at 1500'; =oSpeed +4 from Ibun immediately after Mim; Anduril from a Greater Basilisk at 2300'; and several Elvenkinds of Armour.

On the other hand, I just got my first Res Blind at 2400', my first Res Conf at 2600', and I have yet to see an ego-cloak of any kind.

I currently have some *very* wide gaps in resistance (light, dark, nether, chaos... plus limited ability to cover blind, conf, sound, shards).

Considering my only two characters to advance past this point have died one-hit style to Azriel and to a Great Wyrm of Thunder, I am definitely in the market for suggestions on equipment. [Note: I just picked up a couple of my inventory items on this trip down].

It was yet another one-breath death... apparently, single resistance to fire is inadequate when fighting the Lernean Hydra. It's aggravating, because all I needed to do was browse through Words of Wisdom before I engaged the beastie.
