Green elf druids are quite fragile, but they are good in forests. I'd suggest going and spending some time in the forest (since you're in Menegroth, you can just go to Doriath) and look for better gear. Then do a similar thing to what you did with Khim - speed, shrapnel and shooting or throwing.
