OMG... so much luck in the life of this character already. Luck, of course, is both good and bad. In short, a very atypical early-game for me.

First unusual event: Dlvl 12 for ghost 'Q', damn. Dlvl 12 is usually one of the most important early-game quests, because if you're lucky you can pick up an armor of resistance or a weapon of Westernesse, which will carry through for quite a while. Contemplated suiciding, but decided to stick it out.

A while later, Orc Camp quest gave a randart Elven Cloak! Nice, +4 DEX and RNexus. Found a Ring of Free Action in the BM, so I went ahead and did Old Man Willow for RConf.

Mimic quest... Scroll of Artifact Creation!!! Also Azaghal, but I typically don't like that weapon all that much.

Nothing interesting in Tengus and Death Swords, so moved onto Arena for the ?oAcq. Obtained with little difficulty, so I walked over to Dark Cave to read it.. got Anarion. >_< Woulda been awesome for any other character, but not for a Ninja. I go up the stairs, and found I lost out on Boots of Shiva's Avatar (plus like 8 other artifacts)!! ARGH!!! The one level on skim on had a huge vault.

Absolutely no motivation do to Cloning Pits now :/ That's gonna suck, no decent boots.. I'll need to turn off the auto-squelcher for boots.

Went and levelled from Clvl 22 to Clvl 30 in Killing Fields as I typically do. Thought maybe I could kill Maulotaur with a super-crit, but when the guy triple moved me and brought me down to 6 HP with Stun, I teleported and ran away.

Ninjas are pretty good despite the low nominal damage. The key annoyance is that you can pretty much onlly attack once every two turns (because you need to use the second turn to recover Super-Stealth. I seem to get a lot more crits when attacking from Super-Stealth).

Fairly early ID spell is a huge convenience, and Hit and Away is really nice against uniques.

Eh... oops, I might have to give up Old Castle as well, due to hubris. Killed off Charon and Judge Fear with some trouble, but someone summoned a Dark Elven Shade, which then proceeded to summon two Nycademons (how I hate those! They destroy walls, and thus weakens my Passwall power.. :/)

I failed Cloning Pits earlier, because Bloodbetters and Byakees took over the map, and I was drained down to Clvl 29 and thus stripped of a lot of powers. Since I wasn't going to get Shiva's Boots from it, I decided to abandon rather than tough it through.

Decided to artifact my Dragon Gloves with a solo RLight, and got a pretty interesting result. Eihort, my dlvl 50 quest, also dropped an interesting weapon, in that it is (+36, +41), the highest I've ever seen bonuses on a weapon. Can't use it though...
