High Elven Warrior, can't do much wrong there :)

Named him Test. No latern in town and I forgot to buy Phase door. I decided to dive to word of recall scroll, and when it finally appeared on 750, I was equipped with a westernesse dagger for 4 Attacks and some odd +3 cons randart shield.

Equip was the same one 1500, the dagger was still the only source of free action... Young dragon? 8 rounds of attack.... Things changed when I returned form 1750. Black market offered this really nice xbow of extra might, as well as not less then 31 potions of healing. Could buy only half of them, but the next dive gave The defender and Tandruil :)

However after buying some more of the potions of healing that were still available, I was out of money and out of recall and had to walk down.

Reached 1000, when I got a level feeling called
"goblin drum in moria, doom doom" or something. The level was full of special rooms, and the number of monsters had to be compacted at the start. Deepest monster was from 2500, the level had 4 chests including 2 boot chests, and the very last Orc dropped a scroll of recall!

Many firsts for me with this character:

First OAngband winner
First to use Ringil against Morgoth
First win without finding *heal* or *life*

Closest call was against AMHD poison, short after finding Ringil. Downto 14hp

I think the reduced drops go a bit too far. 3 Good for a wyrm is okay, but only one item from Sauron??

At time this character was looking intresting because of that. No res base until 2000, no confusion until 4000, no dis until searching 4900 finding a BDSM.
Same for potions. I was really lucky to be able to buy 22/12/5 healing potions from BM at three occasions. Without those I would had have to search 4950 or something. The final battle started with 33 heal, all thanks to the BM :=)

So here ends the adventure of Test, renamed to Curry after finding Ringil. Can't let Ringil be wielded by a test character...
