Ah, second try was much better. Good stat rolls, found the Cloak of Bat in the Thieves quest, plus Meng Huo dropped a Pattern Weapon +2 which allowed me to purchase a good assortment of goodies (such as RoDamage and _oSpeed and Long Bow).

Finished the Orc Camp and Sewer Quests relatively easily. Found a Staff of Power in the Orc Camp quest, which annoyed me to no end, since the latest version of Sukeban hasn't found a single one of those, despite being Dlvl 90.

Incidentally, for the last death at the hands of the Trench Wurm, it was a bit of a silly mistake... it was dlvl 12, and I didn't want to abandon the quest, and ended up running out of ?oTeleport. I hate bad early starts where you have insufficient money to buy necessities.

Special Feeling on Dlvl 15, with a medium sized vault. Unfortunately there were unstable worm masses, invisible breeders, and arch-viles. I conveniently left my Armor of Elvenkind at home. Thus, I picked up what I could, which turned out to be a weapon of Prism and a sucky randart, and recalled out, after using 2/3 of my Teleport and Healing supply.

I refuse to be last on the ladder! So I played a little more, and farmed Quartz Veins for about 150k of gold and a good 5 levels of experience. Did the BM circuit, and found the huge RoConstitution as well as the 3rd spellbook!
