Later Angamaite found a very nice town in Moria. It netted her a legitimately bought ring of speed (+8) and a sorcerous amulet of brilliance which she failed to flip after several arduous attempts involving vampire orcs which seem to be much more consistent in cursing than other vampire things. After a good while of nothing accomplished I checked the flipping spoilers. I think I should wait until I level a lot.

Sorcerous amulets are really overpowered, but they also make you work for them if you are primarily a warrior. I like having a good saving throw, but that's a negative in this case. Luckily my saving throw isn't quite perfect yet. Though, that amulet is so nice I have a serious temptation to wear it anyway. It's a choice between attack and defense.
