If you start a warrior with 18/40 str, 18/10 dex and 18/20 cons you get 4 blows with light weapon, and have good life rating. If you do it using the auto roller, you can get even better starting stats like 18/50, 18/30, 18/20, but it might take many rolls to get there. If you do, make sure to set the other min values to 0. btw:
your dmg at death: 2d8+9 = 18
dmg with main gauch +0/+3 for my warrior at lvl1: (1d5 +3)*4 = 24 :)
