Ya know, Engineers are really unbalanced due to money scumming. I have 500 skill points to spend still, and any quest now should be relatively simple.

Oh yeah, I didn't do this by hand, I wrote a borg to scum for me :D

Good Old Professor Russell O'Neill struck it rich and became a millionare back in the Edwardian era when a buck was still worth 100 cents. He amassed his fortune from selling Shotgun ammunition due to his extremely effcient manufacturing methods.

After improving himself with over 300 skill points still left, Russell decided to travel the world and kill things. Unfortunately, none of the difficult quests are exciting for him, so he is merely content with shooting things from a distance.

How did you gain the extra skills for useage - I thought you only got them at level up?

They just appeared when I reached certain levels with certain skills, so I just pumped more of my excess skill points into them.

He means the sheer number of skill points.

In Steamband you get a random number of skill points each time you make a level, and at high levels the total can be pretty small. Over about level 30, you're lucky to get more than 1. To make up for it, you can get skill points a couple other ways - 1) when you complete a quest you will sometimes get skill points as a reward (I've gotten as few as 2 and as many as 9, generally scales up with the dungeon level you did it on); and 2) you can buy skill points. They cost about 1k au per clevel.

Engineers start with an aparatus of create shotgun ammo and it has unlimited uses. Every time you use it, you get ammo which can be sold for 20 au a pop (more if its enchanted). With extensive scumming, engineers can use it to effectively get infinite money at level 1.

Yeah, I know about all these - Thanks for finding them so I can rip them out of the heart of the program and leave a bugless version floating around without all these horrid exploits.

Enjoy it while you can!

After amassing his fortune, Russell decided to go and have some rather unnecessary surgery....
