I was going to sit this one out after the marathon of the previous set of competitions, but with the deadline extension I figured what the heck. Also, the lack of turncount tracking plays to my strength (i.e. being slow). Mirith has had a long slow painful march so far, with particularly terrible luck in the HP department: level 20 but still less that 100 HP. However, Mirith has finally managed to reach actually reach clvl20 and get the extra bow shot; this makes a huge difference. Still below dlvl20. Progress has been so slow that there is serious doubt about being able to finish, even assuming Mirith doesn't die, which is bar far the most likely outcome. OTOH since I'm over 60 and everyone is worried I might possibly catch The Bug, maybe I'll get in a lot of play time.

And on that darkly humorous note - what's the best slang term you've heard for COVID-19? WuFlu is good, as is WuBonic Plague; I'm partial to Winnie the Flu (for those in on the joke). I see CoronaChan a lot, but don't care for it myself. Others?

I only carry book 3 for satisfy hunger and emergency identify in case screolls run out in a vault. Chances are something nasty spawns in while waiting for mana - and thats with regeneration from defender.
