Luck was with me, and Wormy dropped Thengel, which in this variant has been CONSIDERABLY buffed up. Although the wisdom bonus is useless, the res_conf, res_psi are essential, and the meta_psi1 attribute allows it to function like a [metapsionics I] focus, albeit without the powers. Saves you all that trouble of switching foci everytime you want to cast from a different focus.

I had a REAL hard time finding good foci, BTW. [Clairsentience] III, [Telepathy] III, and [Psychokinesis] III were bought from the black market at considerable cost, but most definitely worth it. All in all, I'm having a good time with this variant. That'll last until I get killed 5 mins after posting this dump :)

Artifacts are rolling in steadily. Anarion is real handy for avoiding store-scumming for those damn potions of stat restore. Isildur provides resist_psi in addition to all its normal resists, making it extra desirable to wear in Psi. The RoS +7 I just found surely doesn't hurt, either. I'm hoping to find a better Metapsionic focus soon, so I can avoid swapping foci like crazy when I'm trying to haste myself. At 2500', I'm not doing so bad, eh?

Wearing the Silmarils now...much better than those puny gems on the three bands of mithril, or whatever metal they are. Maybe Adamantite for Nenya. Will this char get up to 99,999,999 exp? Maybe in a year or so.
