Started very fast with this guy - 20 turns down the stairs for the first time and I was level 7 thanks to an elven thrall and his buddies in a little pit. Then I went from 16 to 20 (with a little bit of work) clearing out a Dragonfly pit on like level 12 or 14.

So, after getting my ass handed to me repeatedly on levels 48 or so, I backed off to 40 to spend some time finding stat potions and hopefully some better gear...

Still not buff enough for level 50+, but I'm cautiously dipping back into the lower 40's. Hopefully I'll be able to pick my speed back up again soon.

Went regeneration and fury so far with this guy, loving the stacked regen effect, never have to rest for mana or hp! And Fury appears to give me up to +7 speed once I've been in combat for a few rounds, great for plowing through Troll-filled corridors!
