Teleportation is now "solved" with my Hide in Flames ability, but it still fails at 34% and is rather short range. I guess I'll have to bulldoze the labyrinth at some point, but I'm nowhere near strong enough just yet.

So, my choices are top level dungeon skimming or wilderness exploits, and I think I'll give the wilderness a go.

Since all the Camelot Knights resist base, I swapped in Sting for the time being. * I tracked down Loge, my wimpy racial boss. All it took was a little time in The Volcano with the Palantir of Westernesse.

Passwall is very nerfed these days and the Healing Flames ability is rather useful, but requires both some prep time and confidence that no nearby monsters are lurking about as the ability take 3 turns to execute.

* Falis gives some more cold resist, but still need some more so I can swap out that elemental ring of resistance for more speed.

* To pass the time, I'm training dual wielding skills in the off chance that I decide to go that route for the end. Skill is up to Expert at long last, though achieving mastery is likely to take quite a bit more time. Werewindle gets the nod for weapon #2 since it provides 3 critical resists (that I lose from swapping Celegorm).

I must say, without the scrolls of destruction all hope would have been lost. Dozens of Cyberdemons and even Oremorj, not too mention Sauron (x3) and Cyaegha and hundreds of supporting cast would have made fighting all at once completely suicidal. But about 7 scrolls was enough to tame things, though I must confess to being worried for a bit. Lack of long range teleport had me trapped in a corner with a hundred or so enemies closing in. Finally, one of my escaping activations lucked out, giving me an opportunity to dash to the other side of the dungeon, and that was enough breathing room to finish things off.

Monster summoning is so OP, and it is rather disheartening to get a message like "It summons special opponents" in response to my hide in flames talent. Doh! Not to mention when I carelessly entered wall hiding mode, triggering near instantaneous summon spamming by all adjacent foes ... sigh.
