The game itself is another story however. I have deliberately not changed/'fixed/improved any of the gameplay mechanics, since that is sort of the whole point. But it is really painful to play. I've only gotten down to dlvl 3 (!) so far since the character is so weak. I decided to post because I just found the Phial, but that's nothing to crow about. Given how slow the progress is, I doubt I'll have time to finish even if by some miracle I don't die soon.
