Not sure if it's a good idea to do shooting so early, since both Mana Thrust and Energy Blast are quite good at damage these days. But I wanted to play an Archer psion, so I had to hold off on the direct damage spells.

Psipowers plan: Seeing, Shielding, Blending, Protection, Speed, Smash, Craft, and Foresight. (Probably, Shielding is a mistake, but I don't want to have to wait for FA.)

Assuming Short bow (+10,+10), Arrow (+0,+0):

(10+2.5)*3 +14 (=oDamage) + 8 (Artemis) = 59.5 per shot.

Assuming I get lucky and find an early =oExtraShots, that's 2.2 shots per round, or 131 damage per round. Not counting misses. That 150 damage Mana Thrust is looking pretty good in comparison!

Endgame: Short Bow of Artemis (x4) (+23,+23), Seeker Arrow (+18,+18):

56*4.8 + 12 (Artemis) = 280.8 per shot. Extra Shots bow, =oExtraShots, Gloves of Sniper = 3.5*1.1 = 3.85 shots per round. Multiply to get 1081 damage per round, which is pretty darn good and doesn't include potential Slay Evil arrows.

So really the question is whether I should pick Artemis at all; if I pick Hermes or Hephaestus, I could just suck up the lower range of her Short Bow. Still, maybe archery would work great as a backup plan? Rebuilding...
