Hm... what to pick for special abilities? Won't need Fleet of Foot, won't need Weapon Versatility, won't need Ambidexterity, won't need One with Magic.

Reasonable options: Fast Learner, Unyielding, Evasion, Peerless Tracker, Merchant's Friend, and Demonic Grasp.

Given this is artifactless, I'm thinking probably Merchant's Friend and Unyielding (with Merchant's Friend being picked first).

BTW, last time I did this, it took a while to nail down the umpty gadzillion places in the code that required changing to prevent artifacts from being created, so the honor system applies!

No Egos!? I seem to recall I couldn't finish my "One" challenge, where I was allowed 1 artifact. But we have Merchant's Friend now. Maybe I just need to scum 30M gold and hope for a PDSM?

First two quest rewards sucked, just as before. When my DEX went from 18 to 18/17 at CL 8, I was just about ready to hit the Suicide button, but decided to press on for just a bit longer. A !oSelfKnowledge in the BM showed that my character has:
