Listen, young warrior: pure brutal force leads to death, even for warriors. Instead of magic or stealth, use common sense as the substance of your battle trick. Start with: charging if you battle huge monsters (such as trolls). Or climb up onto something before hittng them. Also, block and concentrate (key '5') before hitting evasive or just high AC monsters. Use terrain. Coating edged weapons and arrows. Carry swap blunt weapon.

Now, that was just a start and that was easy. Here comes the difficult part: avoid (gasp) monsters that are too tough, instead of taking them head on and hoping your escape scrolls won't get burned (if you have any at all).

Another hard one: use your unique racial and style strengths, by designing your unique playing style. Role play a bit. With a Fire Giant (good magic devices) Bowmen (duh), you could e.g. try hindering you opponents via magic wands (of confusion, sleep, light, etc.) and peppering them with arrows. You also have high HP, so you could try Phase Door scrolls, too and if you land close to en enemy, you should survive. At the start, with no wands at hand, use mushrooms for hindering.

That was just an example. BTW., putting so little points into DEX for a bowman is pretty original... Actually, magic devices + bows is quite unusual, too...
