I trekked to Ephil Brandir using magic mapping scrolls to lead the way. Ephil Brandir had tl scrolls so the move to Amod Rudh was a cinch. Lucky speed potion and *identify* wares in the black market. Already have my Ephil Brandir man working on them. I'm sure to die in 10 game turns now...

Using ?TL also means that you can have another go at getting across the level on foot... :)

There *may* be a method of always TLing in the direction you want but I've not discovered it yet...

The heroism and holy chant scrolls became necessary to take out anything stronger than I was. The heroism spell I noticed was in the second stone, so that will be handy.
