It's less tough than I thought in the dungeon (once out of the wilderness which is a predictable nightmare) - but with no massive upgrades until an ego/artifact bow turns up, doing enough damage quick enough will be uber-tough at 1500'. I'll have to rely on proper rogue tactics, alas... :)

PS The main risk will probably be from magic users - a gang of PD Mages can be lethal without a means of doing crowd damage
