I'm getting the job done now, thanks to over 6000 hp of renewable healing (4 staves and 2 nice artifacts). 82 uniques remain including some nasties (Nodens, Shuma-Gorath, Unicorn), but many high level uniques are now forever entombed in the depths of Angband. The Destroyer was a pussycat :-)

Finally got the last wanted unique, 'It'. I had actually given up trying to find 'It' as nobody has actually seen 'It', least of all me :-) But I accidentally ran into him in a vault. The result? Extra stealth ...
Well, I engaged the unicorn twice now and pulled back both times. I'm just not willing to commit the required resources at the moment, which are looking to be about 30 poitions of healing and perhaps 2 or 3 *Healing* as well (maybe I'm just paranoid, or unlucky). I used 6 charges from a staff and 5 potions of healing and one chage from Amber only to remove 2 stars from the sucker, so maybe I need to revise my tactics ...

OK, that was way too easy. You probably recognized that, but I guess my halfhearted attempts at the unicorn made me forget that Ninjas kick butt!!! 21 potions of Healing were consumed.
