I've come across the adamantium in my inventory bug. I read about that somewhere, but don't recall the fix, if any. I don't mind lugging it around, and it's probably my fault for not upgrading earlier.

I wish I could find an uber-weapon. The glaive isn't doing it for me. I shouldn't have ditched my 3d10 halberd of slay evil that was dishing more damage against, well... evil... or even Crisdurian.

I nearly died on my next few turns after posting that I was finally strong enough, naturally, because I didn't notice I had put on a ring of you-can't-teleport-ha-ha. I wonder if the Stone of Lore detects curses, or if I just missed it.

Hard mode might be the best for an assassin. I recall my only assassin winner could steal at will, it seemed. Hard mode is a loot paradise. It's exhausting for my warriors, though. The wilderness was fun. Even with ramped up wilderness, it was nothing like the olden days of the endless waves of wandering packs of monsters. You used to have to surf on a wave of blood into the 4 dungeons. Cowabunga!

Morgoth was as tough as ever. Again, mana burn really makes him easier, which I didn't have. He didn't summon as much as I thought he would, but he did cough up Ungoliant. I was much more scared that he would say, Cantoras, I choose you!... that guy is wicked nasty. All in all, I'm proud to win another FA. The new hard mode is really interesting. I didn't notice the compressed wilderness so much, but maybe that's because I spent so much time out there getting a sweet tan.
