I actually inscribed something. Orcoman dropped a robe of permanence with resist blindness. All I need now is a cap of serenity.

There is a large pile of dead adan, grey elf and green elf corpses behind me, neatly assorted by the druid and ranger classes. I lack the skill and the patience, and some more things too probably, to get these guys off the ground. I spent the most time trying to get an adan druid to Amod Rudh but all 2 or so spent too much time smelling the flowers.

Went to Nan-Dungortheb in hopes that I would get the super-nifty 'hidden from sight' stealth thing for blending in with trees that I get when in forest levels. Even though Nan Dungortheb is way more packed with trees than a typical forest level I don't get the bonus, I guess because I'm the sort of tree that sticks out. Bummer. I was looking forward to being all stealthy-fighty grabbing lots of good loot and choosing my battles, especially since Nan Dungortheb levels are swarming with monsters. I'm currently doing this robin-hood type tactic at 33, the deepest forest level that I know of and it's really fun. Taking out Giant Paladin camps and surprising other baddies is real fun and even the monsters that do realize that I'm around there somewhere (hounds, for instance) move around erratically I guess attacking at all the trees in the area trying to figure out which one is the real deal. It's really neat to watch.

Morgoth was never able to break either. Almsot every round he would just move around me and do nothing, obviously confused by the runes. He managed to summon up two mana storms to drop me to 450 which made me drink two life potions. I drank a potion of regular healing when I got down to 850 after he breathed some hellfire. That's it, he only got 3 attacks in. The runes of protection made the fight super anti-climactic. I've never used runes of protection before so I don't have any other experience to compare it to... but being able to sit comfortably while wailing on Morgoth seems wrong somehow. Anyhows, this isn't the end for old Root Beard. I'm going to try to get to Nowhere Town.

I tried several different ways to get to Nowhere town but the entrance has evaded me. You must've duct taped it shut.
