This one really had everything aimed against it in terms of mid-game viability. Half-Trolls are notoriously horrid with magical devices, and when you add in the fact that this "Ranger" has a dexterity of 13, ya gotta look at this as a Warrior with a tiny bit of spellcasting. Unfortunately, he didn't last long enough to see how interesting it could be.
