I'm really enjoying the double-edged items, like the ones that trigger the perilous feeling, where this is some kind of negative effect to balance the positive ones. I was wearing an amulet of doom at one point on a previous character. I don't know if I still have stuff to steer this character to victory, or anywhere close, but since I've put maybe 20-30 hours of FAangband time in these last 2 weeks, I thought I'd post my best attempt so far and that I've been having a blast. The only thing that I've come across that seemed odd is that I cannot sell the randart? battleaxe in my house. I don't see any curses on it. Oh well, maybe when I reload it will sell, but I'm not really worried about it. Oh yeah, and I changed my walls to be blue pound signs. Go figure. Time for the USA vs ENGLAND match!

Valinorean swords are basically just a replacement for Blades of Chaos now that "of Chaos" is an ego type. They don't really have a basis in myth - I just needed a fancy sword type for the new sword of Manwe (which, btw, you will *really* like).
