In player/calcs.c extra_blows is initialized and updated, but never used.

Correct. We haven't yet worked out how this should be added to the finesse calculation. Currently blows are determined solely by finesse, and weapons already have a +finesse stat. I think the best idea we've had so far is for +blows to be the equivalent of +balance/10, i.e. +1 blow adds 0.1 to balance. If blows are already determined by finesse, doesn't that make "extra blows" kind of redundant? Or are you saying that you'd be replacing extra blows with extra finesse multipliers? (e.g. if regular daggers are 80% finesse and 20% prowess, then you might occasionally find a dagger "of quickness" with 90% finesse and 20% prowess) If so, maybe we could get extra prowess multipliers, too - "of power" or something?You read the scroll labeled NOBIMUS UPSCOTI...
